The Brussels Diamond League 2023, the last regular season stop of the Diamond League 2023, is scheduled to be held on September 7 and September 8, 2023. However, the women’s shot put event is slated for Sept 7, while all other important events will be taking place on 8th. The Brussels meeting which is also known as the Memorial Van Damme will provide the top athletes with one last opportunity to qualify for the prestigious Wanda Diamond League 2023 finals which is all set to be held in Eugene, Oregon, the United States. This is the first-time ever when a Diamond League final will be conducted in the USA.

At the Brussels Diamond League 2023, the lineup is star-studded with champions who earned victories at the World Athletics Championships 2023 in Budapest. Among the athletes to keep an eye on are 200m gold medalist Shericka Jackson, pole vault sensation Mondo Duplantis, shot put champion Chase Ealey, 800m champion Mary Moraa and top high jumper Yaroslava Mahuchikh. The reigning 400m hurdles world champion who also anchored the Dutch 4x400m women’s relay team gold, Femke Bol, will also be in action this week. Middle-distance runner Jakob Ingebrigtsen, who successfully defended his 5000m world title, is set to race over 2000m as he aims for a new world record.
