One-half of the current RAW tag team champions Riddle has been making quite the waves in the WWE. He first made his mark in NXT and then after being promoted to the main roster has been hitting it out of the park alongside Randy Orton. His timing and his way with the crowd is so good that he becomes an instant hit whenever the spotlight is on him. As his four year anniversary with the WWE comes close, Riddle spoke about the most unforgettable moment of his WWE career to date and it was a match involving Timothy Thatcher in NXT.

Speaking on a recent edition of Catch Club, Riddle said, “Fight pit match when I kicked Tim Thatcher’s teeth out of his mouth and Kurt Angle picked them up. There was a lot going on, I kicked the dude’s teeth out of his mouth and Kurt Angle was there. I was like, I got this Legend, I kicked this guy’s teeth, and it was the first-ever fight pit. Which, even though I lost, I still think it’s one of the best matches in WWE right now and I wish they would use it more.”

Randy Orton didn’t like Riddle at first

Elsewhere, The Viper was recently a guest on The Pat McAfee Show and revealed how it feels to be a veteran of the business. The Raw Tag Team Champion admitted that he didn’t originally like his current tag partner, Riddle, but has warmed to him. He said, “Riddle’s a good cat. Did not like him at first. And I think it was just one of those things where I was being a judgemental prick. You know the locker room, you’ve got a new guy coming in, and even though there’s no threatening to your position whatsoever, still, you’ve got this new guy coming in and you’re out there in the ring together trusting each other with your body, with your health.

“You’ve gotta shake my hand, look me in the eye, I need to know you and have some sort of relationship with you in the back before we go out there and I’m gonna go, ‘Here yeah, pick me up and don’t drop me on my head’. I think it just took him a while to kinda open up into being okay with developing that relationship, but once he did, and then I kinda… ‘Okay, I get what kind of guy he is’.
