Randal Keith Orton (born April 1, 1980) a.k.a Randy Orton is a professional wrestler and actor best known for his work with WWE. Bob Orton, Jr. and his wife Elaine Orton raised Orton in Knoxville, Tennessee. He is the nephew of wrestler-turned-musician Barry Orton and the grandson of Bob Orton, Jr.

Nate, Randy’s younger brother, and Rebecca, Randy’s younger sister, are his siblings. Due to the significant amount of time spent away from home and family, his parents discouraged him from pursuing any professional wrestling career as a child. During his time at Hazelwood Central High School, though, Orton continued to wrestle on an amateur level.

Orton chose a career in professional wrestling after his brief military service. Orton began his training in 2000 when he was 20 years old, and it lasted until 2001. In St. Louis, where his father and uncle both worked, he wrestled in local training programmes. Randy Orton has also worked as a wrestling referee.

Also, Randy joined the World Wrestling Federation in 2001 and began training with the organization’s instructional department, Ohio Valley Wrestling. Orton made his professional wrestling debut the following year, at WrestleMania X8 in 2002.
