Because of his amazing character work, Roman Reigns has established himself as one of the best professional wrestlers of all time. Since his reappearance in 2020, the Tribal Chief has dominated his opponents. He looks to have reached a historic milestone in WWE.
As WWE continued to build it up, fans of Roman Reigns were anxiously awaiting him to hit 1000 days as the Universal Champion. It happened soon before Night of Champions, and even Roman Reigns thought no comments were necessary after such a spectacular achievement. WWE even unveiled a new title in honor of Roman Reigns’ 1000-day reign as Universal Champion.
The Head Of The Table continues to rule over WWE, with no end in sight to his tile reign. According to Wrestle Ops, Roman Reigns’ Universal Title reign has now officially eclipsed Pedro Morales’ 1,027-day reign, etching his name in the record books.
“At 1,028 days, @WWERomanReigns ’ Universal Title run has now officially surpassed Pedro Morales’ 1,027 day Championship run.”
WWE has revealed that a Bloodline Civil War will take occur at next month’s WWE Money In The Bank Premium Live Event. We’ll have to wait and see how the plot develops till then.
We saw on WWE SmackDown last to last week that even though Roman Reigns has a new WWE Undisputed Universal Championship, but still he’s still got the two belts The WWE Universal Championship and The WWE Championship. But, the big question is why is that?
It is still not clear why Reigns has been carrying two titles even though he got a new one. But, to make things crystal clear, it makes sense if we look at “The Tribal Chief” Roman Reigns’ character. He carried all three belts to complement his gimmick. He’s so narcissistic and egotistic that adding one more belt to his 3 belts would make it better.
Reigns wanted to have The WWE Undisputed Tag-Team Championship other than his two belts. So, it makes sense, Reigns’ full character is about being in the main event and being the star of WWE.
The only weird, thing about the whole conjunction is why WWE brought in the New WWE Undisputed Universal Championship when Roman wants to carry his WWE Universal and WWE Championship.
