Baron Corbin is an enigmatic figure in WWE, known for both his charisma and disdain from fans, has added a new chapter to his eclectic career. Beyond his wrestling prowess, Corbin has proven to be a force in the world of mixed martial arts, clinching gold in a recent JIU-JITSU WORLD LEAGUE competition.

Corbin, a former King of the Ring winner and Golden Gloves champion showcased his versatility by dominating in the Jiu-Jitsu arena. “FIRST PLACE @baroncorbinwwe !!” declared Rudos Bjj, celebrating Corbin’s triumph. The self-proclaimed Lone Wolf’s journey now includes a gold medal in Jiu-Jitsu, further solidifying his standing as a multifaceted athlete.

Baron Corbin made his finisher by accident

In the world of wrestling, finisher moves are crafted with precision, but for Corbin, the origin of his iconic “End of Days” finisher was pure happenstance. Drawing parallels to Randy Orton’s famed RKO, Corbin shared on Insight with Chris Van Vliet that the move was born during a playful session at the Performance Center.

“Not a joke. Same with Deep Six too. We were playing around at the Performance Center, and a kid named Sami Callihan was involved. I was trying to find a finish at the time. He jumped, I caught him, did the End of Days on him. We sat up and looked at each other like, ‘Wait a second. What was that?'” Corbin recounted.

The accidental creation became a defining moment for Corbin. “It’s a cool, unique first time ever seeing this finish. And then I protected it with every bit of my might,” he added. The End of Days, like Corbin himself, emerged unexpectedly but has since become an integral part of his wrestling identity.

Baron Corbin’s journey from WWE fame to Jiu-Jitsu glory and the inadvertent genesis of his signature move exemplifies the unpredictable nature of a career that continues to evolve beyond the squared circle.
