A week later, the Baggies were forced to share the spoils away to fourth-placed Ipswich despite taking the lead twice through Tom Fellows’s 18th-minute opener and John Swift’e effort 14 minutes from time. Meanwhile Carlos Coberan’s men have been brilliant in front of their own supporters in the last couple of weeks, winning five of their last six fixtures across all competitions at the Hawthorns, scoring 11 goals and keeping three clean sheets in the process.
Cardiff, on the other hand, are heading into the match off the back of one win and three defeats from their last four Championship outings. The Bluebirds secured their 12th second tier success away to Watford earlier this month, but then failed to build on that success, losing out to Preston on Saturday. Meanwhile, the Bluebirds have not managed to win any of their last five matches at the Hawthorns, but they have earned a point each in three of their last four meetings with West Brom.
