Jurgen Klopp has announced he is leaving Liverpool at the end of the 2023/24 season. The German tactician was appointed as the manager of the Reds in October 2015 and his contract was due to run until 2026. The 56 year old won the UEFA Champions League in 2019 before leading Liverpool to their first Premier League title in 30 years in 2019-20. Klopp’s win percentage of 60.7% across all competitions is the highest of any manager at Anfield with 50-plus games in charge of the club. Meanwhile, the former Borussia Dortmund boss shares the joint longest winning run in the English top flight, with Pep Guargiola’s Manchester City, recording 18 consecutive victories between October 2018 and February 2020. He was brought in to end the club’s year’s of heartbreak and lead them back to the pinnacle of European soccer, and the German did just that, winning a total of six trophies.

Here’s a list of trophies he’s won at the club (so far):

UEFA Champions League (2018/19)

The first title Klopp secured at Liverpool was the UEFA Champions League courtesy of defeating compatriots Tottenham Hotspur 2-0 in the final. The Reds came close to winning in 2018, losing to Real Madrid in the summit clash, but they were able to get their hands on European football’s biggest prize one year later, thanks to goals from Mohamed Salah and Divock Origi in the title-decider at Madrid. The result ended their 14 year trophy-drought, with their previous success coming in the same tournament, when Steven Gerard led the Reds to their first continental success in 2005, defeating AC Milan in the final. Meanwhile, their semi-final home-leg victory over Barcelona went down in history as one of the most iconic comebacks, as Klopp’s men overturned a 3-0 deficit from the first leg and prevailed 4-3 on aggregate.

English Premier League (2019/20)

For the first time since 1990, Liverpool won the league title as they finished atop the English top flight standings, with 99 points to their name from 38 games, 18 clear of the chasing pack. Moreover, the Reds also equalled the highest percentage of wins by any club in a top flight season(84.1%). The defence led by Virgil van Dijk conceded fewest number of goals, just 32, while the attacking trio of Salah, Sadio Mane and Roberto Firmino scored a combined a total of 46 goals, out of 85 league goals by the team. Salah finished fifth in the Golden Boot race, with 19 scalps to his name, while Mane was just behind him with 18.

FA Cup (2021/22)

Klopp’s philosophy has always been about high intensity and never-say-die attitude. Liverpool had to dig deep in the FA Cup final against Chelsea at Wembley Stadium in 2022 as the match ended goalless after 120 minutes of play and the winner was decided on penalties. After a gruelling clash that saw both sides cancelling out each other, the Reds prevailed 4-6 in the shootout, with goalkeeper Alisson Becker denying Mason Mount from the penalty spot and Kostantinos Tsimikas scoring the crucial spot kick. It was Liverpool’s eight FA Cup triumph and first one since the 2005/06 season.

Other Trophies (UEFA Super Cup, EFL Cup, Club World Cup)

Klopp won three more silverware on Merseyside- the UEFA Super Cup, EFL Cup and the FIFA Club World Cup. Liverpool defeated Flamengo to lift their first ever Club World Cup trophy in 2020 in Qatar, while the Reds also clinched their fourth UEFA Super Cup title in the same year, getting the better of compatriots Chelsea 5-4 on penalties following a 2-2 draw after extra time. Mane and Firmino found the back of the net for Klopp’s side in the final in Istanbul. Meanwhile, the Merseysiders defeated Chelsea once again in the final in 2022 to secure their ninth EFL Cup winners medal. The Reds won 11-10 on penalties after both sides failed to score in 120 minutes of play.
