Bristol City have recorded 11 Championship wins this season and their latest success came away to Middlesbrough on Saturday thanks to first-half efforts from Jason Knight and Matty James. Liam Manning’s side had just 30% possession against Boro at the Riverside Stadium, but they were the more effective side, recording seven shots on target, one more than the hosts, who pulled one back through Samuel Silvera’s 91st-minute effort. Meanwhile, the Robins have been inconsistent at home in the second tier this season, picking up 21 points from 15 games, and they have recorded just one wins from their last five fixtures across all competitions at the Ashton Gate.

It was their 19th league-win of the campaign. Moreover, Russell Martin’s side have been impressive on their travels, picking up 29 points from 15 away-matches in the Championship, while they have won three of their last four league-outings on the road.
