Reports suggest that Fabinho is being connected with a potential transfer to Al Ittihad, the reigning champions of the Saudi Pro League. Al Ittihad is reportedly willing to offer £40 million for the 30-year-old player, although no official offer has been made yet. Fabinho, along with the other player involved in the reports, is expected to travel with the team for their upcoming pre-season camp in Germany, indicating their commitment to the current team despite the transfer speculation. Meanwhile, Fred, who has seen reduced playing time at Manchester United, is reported to be exploring his options. The club is allegedly open to selling the 30-year-old Brazilian if the right offer comes along. Although Galatasaray’s initial proposal fell short of United’s valuation, there is significant interest in Fred’s services. Fulham has expressed interest, but they do not agree with United’s asking price, adding uncertainty to Fred’s future at the club.

On a positive note, Arsenal has completed the signing of Jurrien Timber from Ajax. The 22-year-old versatile defender, capable of playing at right-back or centre-back, has joined on a long-term contract. The reported transfer fee is €40 million ($45 million), potentially rising to €45 million with add-ons. Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has expressed excitement about Timber’s arrival, highlighting his versatility and quality. Timber is expected to strengthen Arsenal’s defense and seamlessly fit into their playing style.

Arsenal sign Declan Rice

Arsenal has broken their transfer record by officially signing Declan Rice from West Ham for a fee of £100 million ($131 million) plus £5 million ($6.5 million) in add-ons. The deal surpasses Arsenal’s previous record for Nicolas Pepe. Rice’s transfer could make him the most expensive British player in Premier League history, overtaking Jack Grealish’s move to Manchester City. Arsenal continues to bolster their squad after a strong title challenge last season, following the signing of Kai Havertz from Chelsea. Rice is set to join Arsenal on their preseason tour in the United States and could make his competitive debut in the Community Shield against City. Arsenal’s Premier League campaign kicks off against Nottingham Forest on August 12.

Liverpool agrees on Fabinho’s Saudi move

English club Liverpool has reportedly given the green light for Brazilian midfielder Fabinho to join Saudi club Al Ittihad. Fabinho, who played a vital role in Jurgen Klopp’s triumphant teams that clinched the UEFA Champions League and Premier League titles, is allegedly set to depart as part of a midfield overhaul orchestrated by Klopp. This move adds Fabinho’s name to the list of midfielders leaving Anfield as Klopp seeks to revitalize the midfield options at Liverpool.

Inter Milan pull out of Romelu Lukaku’s signing race

Inter Milan is reportedly unhappy with Juventus and Chelsea’s striker Romelu Lukaku, who was on loan at Inter last season, for holding talks with their rivals. They had been negotiating with Chelsea to secure Lukaku’s permanent transfer, believing they were the only club capable of signing him. However, Juventus has now reportedly matched Chelsea’s asking price of €40 million, sidelining Inter in the process. There is still uncertainty as Juventus needs to sell Dusan Vlahovic for up to €70 million before completing Lukaku’s move. In the meantime, Lukaku will return to Chelsea’s Cobham training facility as the transfer saga continues, with Chelsea aiming to resolve the situation before the end of the month.
