The Oslo Diamond League 2023 boasts an impressive roster of 13 competitors who collectively have garnered 25 World Championship gold medals.
The Diamond League 2023 is heading towards its fifth leg, after the completion of the fourth leg competition in Paris, which saw the world record being smashed in the women’s 5000m. Another highlight of the Paris Diamond League meeting was Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone finishing in second in a 400-meter race for the first time in five years. The next leg of the league, Oslo Diamond League 2023, is being staged in Oslo, Norway, at the Bislett Stadium. The meeting, also known as Bislett Games, is scheduled to take place on June 15, 2023.
The Oslo Diamond League 2023 boasts an impressive roster of 13 competitors who collectively have garnered 25 World Championship gold medals. Furthermore, it features 16 athletes who share a total of 16 Olympic gold medals among them. In addition to this rich haul of achievements, four current world record holders are also participating in the event. These include the likes of Armand Duplantis, Wayde van Niekerk, Karsten Warholm, and Yulimar Rojas.
Besides these athletes, Auriol Dongmo, Chase Ealey (women’s shot put), Femke Bol (women’s 400m hurdles), Miltiádis Tentóglou (long jump), Valarie Allman (women’s discus throw), Shericka Jackson, and Dina Asher-Smith (women’s 100m) are some of the biggest athletes to watch out for in the Oslo Diamond League 2023. In this leg, a total of 14 disciplines will be offering Diamond League (DL) points to the athletes.
