If there is one man who personified wrestling in the 90s, it was Stone Cold Steve Austin. The Texas Rattlesnake did things that people could only dream of in that era. From the beer-guzzling to crossing the boss and stunning him, Austin did it all and in the process earned a lot of love from fans around the world. Stone Cold was not a technical wrestler by any means. He was a badass who was a brawler and was as tough as anyone in the wrestling world. He went on to have great matches and WrestleMania and in this article, we will take a look at some of his best ones.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs The Rock (WrestleMania 19)

Stone Cold Steve Austin was nearing the end of his WWE career by the time WrestleMania 19 came by. It was his wish to fight The Rock in his last ever match and they did not disappoint. The match began with the two men going at it with rights and lefts. The Rock in typical fashion played the crowd by mocking Austin by wearing his vest. The Texas Rattlesnake had seen enough at this point and gave a Stunner but was unsuccessful with a near fall. The Rock, for his part, gave two Rock Bottoms on Austin but even that was not sufficient to put Austin away. He then gave another Rock Botton to win the match.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Shawn Michaels (WrestleMania 14)

Shawn Michaels is someone who can easily rub a person the wrong way and if there is one person whom you don’t want to provoke, it is Stone Cold Steve Austin. Austin won the Royal Rumble and earned his shot to face the champion of his choosing at WrestleMania 14. Then, Austin had a feud with boxer Mike Tyson and things got worse when Tyson sided with WWE Champion Shawn Michaels and his group, D-Generation X. The match had everything. Near falls and drama and pure entertainment. The match took a surprising turn when Tyson turned on Shawn Michaels and counted to 3 after Austin laid out HBK with a stunner to win the WWE title.

Stone Cold Steve Austin vs Kevin Owens (WrestleMania 38)

Kevin Owens was running off his mouth and bad-mouthing the great state of Texas in the buildup to WrestleMania 39 which was going to be held in Texas. As the event drew near, Owens laid out a challenge for Stone Cold Steve Austin. The interesting this was Austin hadn’t wrestled since WrestleMania 19, so it was going to be a challenge. Then on Day 1 of WrestleMania 38, Owens called out Austin and out came the Texas Rattlesnake to a thunderous ovation and surprisingly agreed to wrestle a no holds barred match. The match had a lot of great spots as the two men battled all around the area. Austin eventually got the win after giving a stunner and capped off a memorable return to the ring.
