If there is a WWE Mount Rushmore then The Rattle Snake “Stone Cold” Steve Austin is definitely going to be there. Stone Cold was a fearless and dominant wrestler, who was notoriously famous for his rebellious attitude and his willingness to confront the authority.

Throughout his career, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin faced a variety of challenges, including formidable opponents, injuries, and personal setbacks, but he never would show fear or backed down from a fight. In fact, his catchphrase “Austin 3:16” became a symbol of his defiance and his refusal to be intimidated by anyone.

On Insights with Chris Van Vliet, “Stone Cold” Steve Austin answered what scares him. But don’t get surprised by knowing what he is scared of.

Chris Van Vliet asked, Austin, “I’m watching this trailer and you’re doing all these things. You’re drift racing. What? You’re flying a helicopter. What? You’re bowling. What all these things right and I’ m wondering is there anything that scares you?”

Austin with a smile answered, “Yeah, predicting the weather on live television scared the hell out of me.”

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin explained why he is scared of weather on live television

Austin continued saying, “Yeah, you know I have made a living being on live TV and you know we went up there, first of all, it was 12:45 wake-up call. I didn’t sleep. 2:15 call time. I’m not a morning person and then I go on!! This wonderful lady Madison McKay’s breaking down how she does the weather and she’s taking information this paragraph like that and taking the pertinent information and condensing it. Just like out on the Fly. “

“And I’ m thinking to myself, ‘Hey I’ve got to do exactly as good as she is. And you are never going to step in someone else’s shoes or someone else’s job and be you know that good automatically but that’s what I expect out of myself. So, moments like that crush me because I thought I did terribly and I love live television because when the red lights on that’s what I’m at best and I failed.”

Steve Austin spoke on why he was absent on WrestleMania 39

The WWE Hall of Famer recently spoke with Sports Illustrated about his absence from a match in Hollywood. “I haven’t spoken to this, but I’ll give you the story,” Austin said. “I met with some people from WWE. We talked about the possibility of me wrestling at WrestleMania 39. The biggest thing in my mind was the presentation and what kind of match it was going to be.” Austin elaborated that he initially turned down coming out of retirement for his WrestleMania 38 match against Kevin Owens several times until he approved of the creative direction. He didn’t want it to be a “constructed” match, but rather one that came together in the moment.

While Austin did not address any of the rumored WrestleMania 39 opponents, which included Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and LA Knight, he did admit that his production schedule was the major reason he couldn’t commit to another bout.

“But to do a proper match, I’d have to be in off-the-charts shape,” Austin explained. “I told them, and this is the exact truth, I said, ‘Guys, I’m just fixin’ to go into production on this show, ‘Stone Cold Takes on America,’ and until we start production, I don’t know what my life looks like. I can’t commit.’ Sure enough, there were technical issues before we finished.”
