You can call him either the “cookie master”, “The Voice of Voiceless” or “The Best in The World”, for CM Punk had an impact on the pro-wrestling world. Rumors have been on a spree that CM Punk is returning to WWE as he was spotted backstage during the last WWE Monday Night RAW. But, to calm everyone’s horses, he is not coming back.

According to PWInsider Elite (via Wrestling Inc.), the All Elite Wrestling (AEW) wrestler was spotted backstage at WWE Raw on Monday. While Punk was on the same plane as other WWE talent and employees, this is not an indication of his return to WWE.

WWE Raw was in Chicago, and CM Punk was returning to his hometown, which is also in the Chicago area. Punk opted to attend WWE Raw in Chicago after speaking with WWE employees and learning that the event would be held there. He lingered around in the common area for around 20 minutes.

CM Punk spoke with The Miz and Triple H

According to PWInsider Elite, Punk also spoke with Triple H and The Miz. After a heated exchange, Punk and The Miz allegedly cleared the air. People in WWE were ecstatic to see Punk, and many greeted him warmly. WWE security, on the other hand, forced Punk to leave immediately after entering. Also, a fan posted a video where it can be seen CM Punk meeting with Tamina in the parking.

Punk is still under contract with AEW despite not competing since September. Punk, who was the current AEW World Champion, got into a battle with The Young Bucks. Punk previously screamed out other AEW stars during a media scrum after defeating Jon Moxley at All Out to win the championship. After the brawl, AEW President Tony Khan declared the championship vacant. Punk tore a muscle during his match at All Out, causing him to be out for up to eight months.
