According to PWInsider, it does not appear that AJ Styles will be returning to WWE TV anytime soon. Styles was not present for WrestleMania weekend in Los Angeles, according to reports, and it’s “a matter of him being cleared” to return to action.
It doesn’t appear like he’s close to being ready since, according to PWInsider, there’s been no mention that he’s been training at the Performance Centre in Orlando. WWE usually sends talent there shortly before they are cleared to return to television.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider.com reported the following about Styles’ situation with WWE following his absence from Wrestlemania 39…
“He was not around Wrestlemania weekend and we are told it’s just a matter of him being cleared to return from the broken ankle he suffered in December and being ready to perform. We haven’t heard he’s been at the WWE Performance Center or anywhere else on the road for the company.”

The WWE superstar previously addressed the situation and the seriousness of his ailment a day after rumors that he had sustained an ankle injury at a home event spread.
