Over the course of his career, Big Show has played the role of hero and villain many different times, and he is comfortable in both roles. In 1999, Big Show left WCW and signed a contract with the WWF. Over the course of his career, Wight won the world championship seven times. He is the only wrestler to have won the WCW World Heavyweight Championship, the WWE Championship, the ECW World Heavyweight Championship, and the WWE World Heavyweight Championship. In addition, Big Show has experienced considerable success as a tag team competitor.

SHEAMUS

The feud between Big Show and Sheamus was the most unlikely success story of 2012 for WWE. Sheamus’ World Championship reign was getting off to a rough start since fans were upset at how WWE buried Daniel Bryan in the title change.

A feud with Big Show seemed like a bad idea since he was outside of the main event picture for quite some time. Sheamus and Big Show managed to find a special chemistry leading to a few great matches. Big Show did so well that he won the title to get another world championship reign.

FLOYD MAYWEATHER

WWE went mainstream with a huge attraction match at WrestleMania 24. Undefeated boxer Floyd Mayweather had a strong reputation for being the best at his field and for having an arrogant persona that rubbed others the wrong way.

This made him the perfect target for WWE when the company wanted a big name. Big Show was selected to be his opponent and it created great television. The biggest athlete in WWE against the smaller yet lethal boxer added a lot of appeal to the show. They even had a match that exceeded the expectations for a celebrity attraction.

BROCK LESNAR

The best feud of Big Show’s career would take place in different chapters against Brock Lesnar. Big Show was the first man to pin Lesnar in WWE after Paul Heyman turned on Brock in 2002 to align with the big man moving forward.

Lesnar scored revenge on Big Show in the future with a few major wins, including one in a memorable stretcher match. The return of Brock to WWE saw him work with Big Show a few more times since he enjoyed working with the familiar giant.
