The women’s hockey event has been a part of the Asian Games schedule since 1982. South Korea has been the most accomplished nation in this competition with five titles, followed by China that has bagged three titles. Japan and India have won a title each in the tournament. At the Asian Games 2022, the women’s field hockey event will begin from September 25 and run until October 7, 2023. The venue for this event is the Gongshu Canal Sports Park Stadium in Hangzhou.
