The battle for the top step of the podium awaits as the Indian men’s hockey team gets ready to face the mighty Australians at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. India beat South Africa by the thinnest of margins in the semi-final to make it through to the final of the event at England. The score at the end of that match was 3-2 as the likes of Abhishek, Mandeep Singh and Jugraj Singh getting on the scoresheet for the men in blue.

The Aussies, on the other hand, had to face home favourites England and had to face an uphill battle to beat the three lions in their backyard.
