Hockey India League to return with BBMVPL as partner

The recent triumph of the Indian men’s and women’s hockey teams in the Tokyo Olympics revived the passion for field hockey sport in the country. Many people were reminded of the well-liked Hockey India League (HIL), which from 2013 to 2017 ran for five seasons and included some of the best athletes in the globe. As a result, Hockey India has announced that Big Bang Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd  (BBMVPL). has acquired the rights to Hockey India. This is an important step in the process of reviving the Hockey India League because BBMVPL will serve as its official commercial and marketing partner agency.

Hockey India President, Padma Shri Dr. Dilip Tirkey, expressed his pleasure at the news, saying, “It will be a critical stepping stone for India and we are delighted to have Big Bang Media Ventures Pvt Ltd (BBMVPL) as our exclusive Commercial partners for the Hockey India League. Their understanding of sport, esports, content, media & IP monetization is unparalleled and we are very excited for what we could collectively achieve and deliver.”

The Hockey India League, which brought together top talent from across the world and gave new players vital exposure and competition, was a significant occasion for the hockey sport in India. Shri Bhola Nath Singh, the secretary general of Hockey India, expressed his trust in the ability of BBMVPL to oversee the league’s marketing and commercial operations. He stated, “We are confident of taking this forward with Bing Bang Media Ventures Pvt. Ltd. and their expertise to manage the commercial and marketing aspects of the league.”
