The FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2023 is all set to commence on December 5 and will run until December 16, 2023, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. The tournament, which is held on a biennial basis, will feature 16 under-21 men’s teams vying for the Junior World title. The event is organized by the International Hockey Federation (FIH) and will witness 16 nations competing for the coveted title.
Argentina, the defending champions and currently holding the top rank globally, are placed in Pool A at the FIH Hockey Men’s Junior World Cup 2023 alongside Australia, a team that has previously won the title. Pool B comprises Germany, the most successful team with six titles. Pool C features two-time champions India, who will kick off their campaign against the Republic of Korea, and then face Spain and Canada. In Pool D, European powerhouses Belgium and the Netherlands, alongside Asian contenders Pakistan and New Zealand, form a strong group.
