The FIFA rankings are heavily in favour of Turkey, who are ranked at 43rd spot, while Lithuania are way behind at 138th place.
Turkey will be keen to extend its winning streak to four games in the UEFA Nations League when they host Lithuania. Tuesday night’s match at the Goztepe Gursel Aksel Stadyumu will be an excellent opportunity for the hosts to complete a double over the visitors. On the other hand, Lithuania will be looking to get their first points in the ongoing Nations League after losing all three matches they have played so far in the competition. However, it will be a tall order for them to get anything out of the game, as Turkey are the clear favourites to top League C Group 1.

The FIFA rankings are heavily in favour of Turkey, who are ranked at 43rd spot, while Lithuania are way behind at 138th place. If someone goes by the rankings then, the hosts have to be the obvious favourites for the Tuesday night clash. Their form so far in the tournament also justifies the favourite tag. Turkey started the Nations League with a dominant 4-0 victory over Faroe Islands, then went on to hammer Lithuania 6-0 before beating Luxembourg 2-0. In total, they have scored 12 goals in three games, having not conceded a single one till now.

On the other hand, Lithuania have lost all three matches in the Nations League this year. They lost 2-0 to Luxembourg, 6-0 to Turkey and 2-1 to Faroe Islands. Lithuania have scored only once but have conceded a staggering 10 goals in three matches. Overall, they are on a four-match losing streak and the last time when they won a match was in March against San Marino. Keeping this in mind, it will be extremely difficult for Lithuania to even get a point on Tuesday, as Turkey will be heavy favourites.
There are not many changes expected from Turkey following their dominant performances in the tournament till now. Serdar Dursun, Halil Dervisoglu, who plays for Brentford, and Cengiz Under could lead the attack for the hosts on Tuesday night. In the middle of the park, Inter Milan midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu is expected to run the show, with proper support from Dogukan Sinik. With many of its players playing for established European clubs, Turkey possess an array of talents at their disposal. On the other hand, Lithuania have to make a forced change after Edgaras Utkus was suspended for the clash. It will interesting to see who will replace him in the Starting XI.
Turkey possible line-up: Cakir, Kadioglu, Soyuncu, Demiral, Celik, Tokoz, Calhanoglu, Sinik, Under, Dursun, Dervisoglu
Lithuania possible line-up: Bartkus, Barauskas, Sirvys, Klimavicius, Baravykas, Megelaitis, Slivka, Cernych, Lasickas, Novikovas, Klimavicius
