In the ongoing transfer window, Manchester United has reportedly made a second bid for Mason Mount, but Chelsea remains firm on their valuation. United’s initial offer of £40 million was rejected, prompting a higher bid of nearly £50 million. However, Chelsea allegedly values Mount at £70 million, and negotiations are still underway. Mount’s contract has one year left, and talks for a new deal have collapsed, leading to reports of his openness to a move to Manchester United. United believes their offer is reasonable but they are hesitant to meet Chelsea’s demand. The transfer hinges on Chelsea reducing their asking price.

On another front, Barcelona has reportedly reached an agreement with Ilkay Gundogan to sign him on a free transfer from Manchester City. Speculation surrounding the deal has been rampant, with reports suggesting that Gundogan is ready for the move. The proposed agreement states that Gundogan would join Barcelona on a two-year contract until June 2025.

Meanwhile, Bayern Munich is closing in on the signing of Kim Min Jae and is actively seeking to strengthen their defense further as per reports. The club is reportedly eyeing Villarreal’s Pau Torres, a highly sought-after defender who impressed during the UEFA Champions League campaign. Despite interest from other European clubs last year, Torres remained with Villarreal, but Bayern Munich has allegedly expressed their desire to acquire his services in this transfer window.

Tottenham inching closer to Guglielmo Vicario

According to reports, the transfer of Guglielmo Vicario to Tottenham is close. A reported agreement has been reached after an official bid was made for the Italian goalkeeper. Fabrizio Romano, Italian Journalist and football transfer expert, tweeted that Spurs have secured his move from Empoli FC for €19 million. Vicario, who had an impressive season at Empoli, will soon be in London to sign a contract that will keep him at the Spurs until 2028.

Al Nassr closing in on Marcelo Brozović

According to the latest reports from Fabrizio Romano, Al Nassr is making efforts to finalize the deal for Marcelo Brozović. The football transfer expert tweeted that although the final terms of the agreement have not been fully agreed upon, the negotiations are still ongoing. There are some details remaining to be discussed on this huge transfer. Brozović, meanwhile, is open to the idea of joining Al Nassr and is considering it as a potential option. Talks will continue as both the clubs work towards reaching a satisfactory agreement which favours both parties.

West Ham looking at Denis Zakaria

West Ham is reportedly showing interest in signing Denis Zakaria, who has returned to Juventus after a loan spell at Chelsea. The club has allegedly made inquiries to gather information about the conditions of the potential deal. However, there is significant competition as several other clubs are also battling for Zakaria’s signature. It is reported that Zakaria is not part of Juventus’ plans for the upcoming season, indicating the likelihood of him seeking a new club. The situation surrounding Zakaria’s future remains open and will likely involve further negotiations and considerations from interested parties, including West Ham majorly.
