In the 2023 transfer window, Manchester City had reportedly made a £80 million bid, along with £10 million in add-ons, to sign West Ham United captain Declan Rice, aiming to outmaneuver Arsenal in the pursuit. This comes after Arsenal’s rejected £90 million proposal. Rice’s contract with West Ham expires in 2024, and it appears likely that he has played his final game for the club, given his expressed desire to leave.

Minnesota United has secured Finnish striker Teemu Pukki on a two-year Designated Player contract, with the option to extend until December 2025. Pukki, who left Norwich City, brings experience and goal-scoring ability to strengthen Minnesota United’s attack. Fans eagerly anticipate his impact on the field, making this signing a promising development for the club.

AC Milan has completed a £17.2 million deal to acquire Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea, as he seeks new opportunities. Loftus-Cheek becomes the third player to leave Chelsea this summer, contributing to their ongoing departure phase. AC Milan, known for their recent Champions League success, successfully secures Loftus-Cheek’s services through this agreement.

Tottenham Hotspur reject Bayern Munich’s bid for Harry Kane

Tottenham Hotspur rejected an offer from Bayern Munich for their striker, Harry Kane. The Bundesliga champions’ bid for the England captain, which amounted to €70 million plus add-ons, is turned down by the Hotspur. Kane, who is 29 years old, has one year left on his current contract with Tottenham. Bayern, led by former Chelsea head coach Thomas Tuchel, is actively seeking a new forward this summer, and Kane is among their top priorities.

AC Milan sign Marco Sportiello

AC Milan has confirmed the signing of Marco Sportiello as their new goalkeeper. Sportiello, who has signed a contract until June 2027, will serve as the backup to Mike Maignan. The 29-year-old Italian goalkeeper began his career at Atalanta’s youth system and has had stints at Seregno, Poggibonsi, and Carpi before returning to Atalanta, making 88 appearances from 2013 to 2017. He then joined Fiorentina and later played for Frosinone. Sportiello returned to Atalanta for the 2019-20 season, accumulating 136 appearances before deciding to seek a new adventure.

Manchester City out of Declan Rice move

Manchester City has reportedly withdrawn from the competition to sign West Ham’s star player, Declan Rice. This development serves as a significant advantage for Arsenal, who are nearing a deal for Rice. Arsenal reportedly made a substantial third bid of £105 million for the midfielder, breaking transfer records. On the other hand, Manchester City, whose initial offer was rejected by West Ham, is not willing to match the progress made by their rivals.
