Al Hilal is reportedly set to sign Serbian midfielder Sergej Milinkovic-Savic from Lazio for €40 million. The three-year contract will keep him in the Saudi Pro League until 2027. Milinkovic-Savic will join Ruben Neves and Kalidou Koulibaly as major European signings for Al Hilal. Known for his contributions to Lazio, he scored 9 goals and provided 8 assists last season, helping the team secure a Champions League spot. Tottenham Hotspur has completed the signing of forward Manor Solomon on a free transfer. The 23-year-old Israeli international, who played for Fulham on loan from Shakhtar Donetsk, agreed to a five-year deal with Spurs. Solomon impressed in the Premier League, scoring in five consecutive games and attracting interest from clubs like Barcelona and Arsenal. However, he chose Tottenham due to the club’s rich Jewish history and fanbase. Solomon joins James Maddison and Guglielmo Vicario as Spurs’ third summer signing.

Eighteen-year-old Brazilian winger Angelo Gabriel, a product of Santos’ renowned youth academy, is set to join Chelsea. Despite facing challenges, he quickly rose through the ranks at Santos and will now pursue a career in Europe. Chelsea secured his services with a €15 million deal, adding him to their roster of promising young talents.

FC Barcelona sign Vitor Roque

Barcelona has officially reached an agreement to sign 18-year-old striker Vitor Roque from Athletico Paranaense in Brazil. The young forward will join Barcelona for the 2024-25 season on a deal until 2031. The transfer fee is reported to be €30 million, with an additional €31 million in potential add-ons. Barcelona’s financial difficulties have limited their spending, and they have made free transfers for Ilkay Gundogan and Inigo Martinez this summer. Roque, considered one of the most promising talents in Brazilian football, has been in impressive form, scoring six goals in his last six games. He made his debut for the Brazilian national team in March and can play in various attacking positions. Barcelona is also in search of a holding midfielder to replace Sergio Busquets, who joined Inter Miami.

Christian Pulisic medical soon

Christian Pulisic, the United States forward, has arrived in Italy for a medical with AC Milan ahead of his anticipated transfer from Chelsea. The 24-year-old is expected to sign a four-year contract with Milan, becoming the third American player to join the club. Milan, owned by American investment firm RedBird, is reportedly set to pay a transfer fee of €20 million ($22 million) for Pulisic, significantly less than what Chelsea paid Borussia Dortmund for him in 2019. Pulisic’s time at Chelsea was affected by injuries, although he did win several trophies with the club. Pulisic would join Ruben Loftus-Cheek, another former Chelsea player, at Milan and could reunite with Olivier Giroud and Fikayo Tomori. He has represented the United States 60 times, scoring 25 goals.

Aston Villa sign Pau Torres

Aston Villa has officially signed Pau Torres from Villareal in a £35 million transfer. The 26-year-old centre-back reunites with former Villareal manager Unai Emery at Villa. Torres, a product of Villareal’s Youth Academy, made 173 appearances for the club and played a crucial role in their fifth-place finish last season. He won the Europa League with Villareal in 2021 and has represented Spain at Euro 2020 and the 2022 World Cup. Torres joins Tyrone Mings, Diego Carlos, and Ezri Konsa as Villa’s centre-back options. The transfer fee negotiated by Villa was £35 million, lower than Torres’ £55 million release clause.
