The Premier League season ended on May 28th, and teams can soon start making signings. Last year’s transfer windows were record-breaking, with a huge amount of money spent both in summer and January. There are rumors circulating that notable players like Jude Bellingham and Declan Rice are considering moves from their current clubs.

The Premier League’s summer transfer window will officially open on June 14th, allowing English clubs to sign players from domestic leagues. International deals will be permitted starting from July 1st. The window will close on September 1st at 11pm.

Arsenal fans will be pleased to hear that William Saliba has reportedly agreed to a new contract with the Gunners, as his previous deal was set to expire in the summer. Aaron Ramsdale, Bukayo Saka, Gabriel, and Gabriel Martinelli also allegedly signed long-term contract extensions with the club.

Reports suggest that Bayern Munich midfielder Joshua Kimmich could be seeking a new challenge outside the Bundesliga. It is being speculated that Barcelona might be a possible destination for the 28-year-old. Additionally, it is reported that Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has identified Bernardo Silva as their main target in the summer transfer window. The French champions are keen on acquiring the Portuguese star to strengthen up their line-up even more.

William Saliba closing in on new Arsenal deal

David Ornstein, a reliable football correspondent, tweeted that Arsenal and William Saliba have reached an agreement on a new four-year contract, securing his stay at the Emirates Stadium until at least 2027. The contract is currently in the final stages of paperwork. Despite interest from other Premier League clubs and abroad, Saliba played a crucial role for Arsenal last season until an injury forced him to miss the final 11 games. Unfortunately, his absence coincided with a decline in Arsenal’s form, resulting in their slip from the top of the table to second place.

Youri Tielemans inches closer to Aston Villa move

According to Daivd Ornstein’s tweets, Youri Tielemans has reached an agreement to join Aston Villa. The Belgian midfielder left Leicester City this summer as his contract came to an end. Tielemans had attracted interest from Champions League clubs and faced competition from various European teams for his signature. Villa, who secured a seventh-place finish in the Premier League last season, making them eligible for the Europa Conference League, have made Tielemans their first signing of the summer as they gear up for the upcoming season as per the reports.

Tottenham looking for a star goalkeeper

Brentford has reportedly set a £40 million asking price for goalkeeper Raya, but Tottenham is hesitant to meet the fee due to his one-year remaining contract. Whether a deal can be reached between the two clubs remains uncertain, while Manchester United and Chelsea are reported to be keeping an eye on the situation. Despite new head coach Ange Postecoglou not officially starting until July, Tottenham seems poised to make Raya their first signing. With criticism surrounding Hugo Lloris’ performances and his contract nearing its end, securing a new number one goalkeeper is a priority for Tottenham.
