However, with just ten minutes remaining, the Dutch outfit leveled the score again thanks to Luuk de Jong’s towering header from a corner. After the hard-fought draw, the Scottish side travelled to Ross County for their league fixture on Saturday and prevailed 2-0, while the Red and Whites were blessed with a weekend off from domestic duties.

PSV Eindhoven will enter Wednesday’s winner-takes-all encounter with an astonishing 23-game unbeaten run across all competitions since February’s Europa League loss to eventual champions Sevilla.
