After that, La Verde lost their next three friendlies across September and November, extending their losing streak to seven matches in all competitions. The Green finally ended their losing run against Saudi Arabia on March 28, thanks to goals from Marcelo Martins Moreno and Carmelo Algaranaz. Now, Gustavo Costas’ men will be looking to build on their success against the Falcon Greens before hosting Chile in Santa Cruz next week.
