She grabbed the NCAA Discus championship title in 2019 and earned a series of honors including being an 8-time NCAA Division 1 All-American and a 6-time Big Ten Conference champion. She also scored for the All-Big Ten Conference on 12 occasions. As a student at Mount Miguel High School, she won the CIF San Diego Section shot put titles in 2014 and 2015. She even took third place in the shot put at the 2015 CIF California State Meet.
