The Paris Diamond League 2023 is all set to take place on June 9, 2023, at the Stade Sébastien Charléty in Paris, France. This will be the fourth leg of the Diamond League 2023. Also known as Meeting de Paris, the meet is one of the most popular Diamond League legs. It will feature some of the biggest athletics stars like Noah Lyles, Ferdinand Omanyala, Miltiadis Tentoglou, Sydney McLaughlin, Keely Hodgkinson, Grant Holloway, Chase Ealey, Valarie Allman and the list continues. The field includes Tokyo Olympics 100m gold medalist Marcell Jacobs who will be making his debut at the Diamond League 2023 season.
The Paris Diamond League 2023 will have 16 events that will be offering Diamond League points to the athletes. Over 14 events from May to September, athletes collect points in the Wanda Diamond League based on their top-eight finishes. The highest scorers in each discipline qualify for the final – top six in field events, top eight in 100 to 800m, and top ten in 1500m and above. In the final, athletes vie for the Diamond Trophy, $30,000, and a World Athletics Championships wild card, subject to specific rules.
