The Diamond League is an annual series of competitions which the World Athletics Federation organizes. The 2023 Diamond League is the fourteenth season of the annual series of outdoor track and field meetings, organised by World Athletics. This competition is a revision of the top-level athletics series since the Diamond League foundation in 2010. The earlier number of Diamond Discipline events was 32. Currently, the dual-meet final format has been replaced by a single final. This has pulled down the number of events from 32 to 14.

Each meeting will be a host of events categorized under the Diamond Discipline. These events will be decided according to the allocation. However, some of these events will not be broadcast. Events losing Diamond Discipline status will feature on the World Athletics Continental Tour. It is the second tier of track and field meetings. The Lausanne Diamond League is the sixth leg of the Diamond series starting from the 30th of June. There will be many competitors who will be gearing up for this competition. Let us take a close look at some of them.
