Sydney McLaughlin Levrone signs a lucrative deal with New Balance for limited edition

Sydney McLaughlin Levrone has recently collaborated with the multi-million company, New Balance for their upcoming collections.

The two-time Olympic gold medalist, Sydney McLaughlin Levrone has yet again inked a significant chapter in her career. Sydney was honoured by multi-national giants New Balance for their limited editions. Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone‘s latest signature collection with New Balance features a hand-selected neutral color palette and her favorite lifestyle sneaker.

The American track phenom’s new collection comprised of unisex performance and lifestyle apparel and footwear includes an exclusive, limited-edition colorway of the brand-new FuelCell Rebel v4 running shoe ($140) and her go-to lifestyle shoe, the 9060. A FuelCell SuperComp MDX v3 spike is also on offer.

On the apparel front, the range delivers a terry lounge set, high-rise leggings for either training or chilling, as well as a New Balance varsity jacket. Each piece is inspired by the two-time Olympic gold medalist’s everyday style.

The unveiling of the four-time World Record Holder’s new signature collection comes ahead of the 2024 Summer Olympic Games. At just 19 years old, New Jersey-born McLaughlin-Levrone signed a $1.5M deal with New Balance after a bidding war in 2018.

Race to the Paris 2024

Sydney McLaughlin Levrone will be one of the key athletes to take part in the upcoming Olympics held in Paris. She was seen training in Los Angeles alongside Middle-distance runner and Tokyo Olympic medalist, Athing Mu. The 24-year-old had to withdraw from competing at the 2023 World Athletics Championships only a week before the start after a knee injury.

The New Jersey-born athlete, a hurdles specialist, was poised to compete in a new event for her at the World Championships- 400 m flat as an alternative to the 400 m hurdles.

She competed in the 400 m event for the first time on 9 June, 2023. Sydney registered in a timing of 49.71 seconds. Later, at the 2023 USTAF Championships, the Olympian clocked another impressive time of 48.74 seconds to set a world lead.

She announced her withdrawal to her fans on social media, conveying her decision to take a rest and come back stronger in the Olympic year. The American athlete also missed the ongoing the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Glasgow.
