Greetings and welcome to Sportslumo’s coverage of WWE Raw report 1 on July 3 from the Baltimore CFG Bank Arena. This was the follow-up programme to Money in the Bank on Saturday, so a lot of time was spent rehashing the pay-per-view and announcing the next big event. Two new MITB holders had the ability to dominate the reigning champions with their briefcases. Due to her scheduled championship defense over Natalya on Monday night, Rhea Ripley was even more of a target for Iyo Sky. Let’s review everything that transpired on this week’s Raw programme.

Seth Rollins came out singing

A video summary of all the significant Money in the Bank events was shown before the show ever began. Seth Rollins stepped out to the cheers of the audience as he went live from the arena, having triumphed. The Visionary finished talking about MITB before Cody Rhodes emerged to yet another thunderous applause. He had begun to inquire about whether we intended to discuss when the music from Brock Lesnar cut him off. Rhodes went up the stairs to confront him after leaping out of the ring.

They fought all the way back to the ring, where The American Nightmare hit a Cody Cutter after escaping an F5. Rollins continued to compete in the ring after a break. He started to say something but was again cut off. This time, Dominik Mysterio, Rhea Ripley, and Damian Priest were present. The crowd’s constant booing of Dom whenever he attempted to speak amused the Visionary. He consented to compete against Mysterio later on in the programme.

Shinsuke Nakamura vs Damian Priest

Priest stayed after the opening segment to fight Shinsuke Nakamura, who he had battled earlier in the men’s Money in the Bank event. The Artist’s right arm was the focus of The Archer of Infamy’s initial attack. He held the advantage for a while until dropping Nakamura on the fence just before the show’s intermission. As the event resumed, Nakamura staged his return and executed a sliding German suplex. After dancing over to Ripley and blowing her a kiss that Dom “intercepted,” he returned to the ring and kicked Priest in the stomach.

The last few minutes of the fight were the finest because of how quickly they stepped up the pace, although the majority of this shall be neglected before the event is finished. Both men performed admirably. They simply didn’t put out enough effort to stand out, but every game should not have that as its objective. Priest hit a huge clothesline and then South of Heaven to secure the victory.

Ronda Rousey and Shyna Blazer

Shayna Baszler interrupted Ronda Rousey just as she was about to say anything. According to Baszler, Rousey is the only reason she is even in a WWE ring. The Baddest Woman on the Planet claimed that her colleague owed her an explanation for betraying her at Money in the Bank. The Queen of Spades launched into a tirade against her ex-friend’s entitlement and declared her intention to be the one to ultimately silence her. She was kicked off the apron by Rousey, and they got into a brawl.

Before striking her with a vicious running knee, Baszler had her in an ankle lock and had held her for a long period. This was a fantastic episode to start off their conflict. Baszler has the support of the crowd, therefore WWE had better capitalize on it by rendering her the protagonist of this tale at the end.

Viking Raiders vs Alpha Academy

Zoey Stark and Trish Stratus were singled out by Becky Lynch. The Man began laughing at how ludicrous the veteran looked as she emerged with a protective facemask. Although nothing came of it, it did let us know that the animosity was still going on. The following contest featured a mixed tag team battle between Maxxine Dupri, Chad Gable, and Otis versus Erik, Ivar, and Valhalla. Erik was the target of Professor Gable’s initial attack, but Otis quickly joined in. Before the show turned into a commercial, he defeated both Vikings by himself.

After the break, while Gable and Ivar were both down, they at last tagged in the ladies. Dupri used an arm drag to knock Valhalla to the ground several times before landing a suplex. With a sunset flip in the corner, she was able to give her team the victory. Due in part to Dupri’s comic timing and that of Otis and Gable, this feud has been more entertaining than it has any right to be. Although the contest wasn’t ever likely to be a five-star classic, the most important thing was that the live audience enjoyed it.
