Wyatt’s return

At the Extreme Rules premium live event in October of last year, Wyatt made a comeback. He only competed in one televised match after his comeback, a match facing LA Knight at this year’s Royal Rumble, before becoming unwell. He did, however, participate in a few WWE house shows as a wrestler. Wyatt’s clearance to compete has reportedly proven to be a more challenging process than WWE had anticipated, therefore the management has reportedly been cautious in developing creative ideas for him.

Injury

Bray Wyatt is apparently still incapacitated with the same ailment that has prevented him from competing since February. According to the sources, Wyatt was supposed to start a fight with Bobby Lashley in a plot that would have also included Alexa Bliss and the Uncle Howdy character, but because of Wyatt’s illness, everyone involved—including Lashley—has been put on hold. Additionally, the source adds that Alexa Bliss’s current pregnancy and impending maternity leave do not help. Despite Wyatt’s ongoing health problems, any imaginative intentions WWE intended for Bliss are no longer even a consideration.
