At the age of 55, the former WWE Superstar Mantaur, real name Mike Halac, appears to have passed away. On social media, tributes have been flooding in from all facets of the wrestling community. Mantaur, a seasoned pro wrestler, worked for WWE in the middle of the 1990s and also held positions with ECW and WCW. In 1997, he participated in his final WWE match. According to a number of accounts on social media, Mantaur appears to have passed away. The 55-year-old former WWE Superstar was a veteran of the business with decades of expertise.

Type two diabetes

Halac had type 2 diabetes, however no family member or medical professional has yet revealed whether or whether this was a factor in his passing. Bryan Clark, a former wrestler, claimed he recently fell, though. “I’m very saddened to hear the passing of Mike Halac, I messaged him after his fall and while he was in the ER.. he never responded which was very unlike him,” he said. I woke to hear the news, Prayers for Big Mike’s family, I will always remember our Laughs and I will miss our conversations.”

Pro Wrestling Career

Halac’s professional wrestling career started in 1991 when he wrestled for the CWA (Catch Wrestling Association), where he stayed until 1994. He then went on to make his WWE debut in 1995 under the ring name “Mantaur,” competing against legends like Bret “The Hitman” Hart and the late Scott Hall and Bam Bam Bigelow. At the 1995 Royal Rumble, Mantaur made his debut on pay-per-view. He took part in the Royal Rumble match, but only lasted nine minutes before being defeated by Lex Luger. He competed in the King of the Ring event later that year but was defeated by Bob Holly in a preliminary match.
