Mantaur, a wrestler who joined the World Wrestling Federation (WWF) in 1995, became well-known for his unique appearance, which included a giant bison head perched atop his body. Mantaur participated in a number of notable matches while he was employed by the organization, including a contest for the Intercontinental Championship with Razor Ramon. Unfortunately, Jeff Jarrett’s interference caused him to lose the match.
Even though Mantaur’s time in the WWF was relatively brief, it gave him the chance to face off against some of the biggest stars in the business, including Bret Hart and Bam Bam Bigelow. He values the opportunity to have fought these renowned figures in the squared circle even though he did not succeed in winning any of the battles.
From 1994 through 1996, Mantaur worked for the WWE and interacted behind the scenes with a number of well-known wrestlers. He remembered a chat he had with Shawn Michaels, the current NXT president, in an interview. Mantaur’s most recent match took place in a Battle Royal at Game Changer Wrestling in 2019. He has not participated in professional wrestling since then with any subsequent promotion, and his professional life has been on hold.

After leaving the WWF, Mantaur began competing for a number of other organisations, including the Catch Wrestling Association (CWA), Extreme Championship Wrestling (ECW), United States Wrestling Association (USWA), and the independent circuit. His stint saw him accomplish a number of noteworthy feats, including capturing the Tag Titles and the Catch Cup during wrestling in the CWA and once holding the USWA Unified World Heavyweight Championship.
During Mantaur’s time with WWE, there was a speculation that he was linked to P.N. News, which presented challenges because of News’ negative image during his time in WCW. Mantaur mentioned in the interview that Michaels questioned him about the purported affiliation with News. Michaels conveyed happiness and appreciation to Mantaur for dispelling the speculations once she stated that they were unrelated. Despite his brief service, Mantaur had the chance to engage in fierce competition and make enduring memories.
