The 2023 WWE Draft once again transformed the face of Raw and SmackDown as the main roster was shook up, with big consequences felt for NXT, but with Bron Breakker missing out on a transfer this time.

Many anticipated Breakker’s loss of the NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes at Stand & Deliver to result in the second-generation superstar getting promoted to the main roster in the near future. However, the WWE Draught passed without Breakker’s name being mentioned.
Bron Breakker was conspicuously absent from the latest WWE Draught, despite having been extensively connected with a main roster call-up from NXT to Raw or SmackDown – yet it appears that the organization had excellent reason to keep him out. According to WRKD Wrestling, WWE did not approach Breakker, canceling planned call-up plans, since corporate management is pleased with his new heel image in NXT. As a result, the promotion chose to keep him in development “to better cultivate his character.” Post-SummerSlam moves currently appear to be more likely on Raw or SmackDown.
Breakker had been the NXT Champion for 362 days previous to NXT Stand & Deliver 2023 (1 April), but he has seen progressively negative fan responses in the run-up to the event. He then lost the NXT Championship to Carmelo Hayes at the supershow, when he was an obvious second choice in the eyes of the public, with the live crowd echoing the Performance Centre faithful in strongly supporting Hayes.
Breakker has subsequently become a full-fledged wrecking ball heel on Tuesday nights, extending his feud with Hayes. Breakker defeated Carmelo’s partner, Trick Williams, in around six minutes on this week’s NXT.

After a series of maneuvers and countering them both wrestlers pushed each other to the limit. Breakker would have won if the referee wasn’t taken out, Trick hit Breakker on the back of his head with the title belt when the referee wasn’t there. And in the end, Hayes emerged victorious in his fight against Breakker. Breakker himself presented the championship belt to the Hayes after the match.
After losing the championship title Breakker personality took a U-turn. After winning against Chase U in his fight, Breakker set his eyes on Hayes and Trick Williams and destroyed both via his signature move spear.
Hayes was hospitalized after getting destroyed by Breakker. But the Champ will look forward to his fight against Breakker inside the ring to retain his NXT title.
