According to The Rock, pro wrestling has brought him and Simone closer together. Simone Johnson, also known as Ava is presently contracted to WWE as a member of the NXT group The Schism. In early April, she made her in-ring debut as part of an eight-person tag team on the NXT Stand & Deliver Kickoff show.

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson spoke on The Pivot Podcast, where he discussed a variety of issues, including his daughter, Simone. Simone is known as Ava in WWE NXT. She made her in-ring debut in an eight-person tag on the NXT Stand & Deliver Kickoff event in April. The former WWE Champion discussed how pro wrestling brought them closer together.
“I have the privilege and honor of watching my daughter Simone (Johnson) and… I had her when I was young in my 20s and you know, as dudes, we’re still trying to find ourselves in our 20s, in our 30s. If we’re lucky, we reach our fourth level and we find ourselves a little bit (he laughed). We get a little bit more wiser. So when I had Simone, I was flying by the seat of my pants. I was wrestling full-time, I started transitioning into movies full-time. I had so much sh*t going on so I like to say me and Simone grew up together. So we had a relationship where I was always gone but we tried to keep it together. Now, years later, as she becomes a pro wrestler, it’s actually brought us closer together. So in a way, it’s helped save that relationship too so, in many ways, pro wrestling has been my family’s savior.” H/T to POST Wrestling

Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has talked to Nick Khan about buying WWE, but he is unsure if the position is right for him. The Brahma Bull, who owns the XFL and has his own film production company called “Seven Bucks Productions,” is no stranger to being a business owner. Johnson also owns a tequila brand called Teremana Tequila, which has won awards.
In an interview with BNN Bloomberg as part of a Black Adam publicity tour, Johnson stated that the subject of purchasing WWE had come up. He said,“ Nick [Khan] and I have talked about that, and we always enjoy that over a bottle of Teremana. I love the wrestling business. I grew up in it. My grandfather [and] my dad started here in Canada, where [his father] was born. So, I’m not quite too sure if a board seat is in my future, but possibly other things are in my future, for sure.”
