Money In The Bank becomes the Highest-Grossing Arena event in WWE history

MITB became the highest-earning non-WrestleMania event ever, breaking the previous record for On Location fan experience packages.

According to WWE, Money In The Bank, which aired on Saturday from The O2 in London, became the most popular and financially successful Money In The Bank ever. Notably, Friday Night SmackDown from The O2 became the highest-grossing SmackDown ever, while Money In The Bank broke the previous record for the highest-grossing arena event in WWE history. $5.4 million in gate revenue was produced throughout the course of the weekend. Additionally, Money In The Bank (MITB) set new benchmarks in terms of audience, sponsorship, merchandise, and social media. 

The Records 

Viewership increased by 17% from the previous year’s record and increased by 30% over the previous U.K. premium live event, Clash at the Castle. Compared to the previous high achieved in 2022, sponsorship revenue increased by 9%. MITB set a record for the highest-earning arena event in WWE history for venue merchandising. 

MITB became the highest-earning non-WrestleMania event ever, breaking the previous record for On Location fan experience packages. With video views of the Bloodline Civil War match hitting 40 million in the first 48 hours, the event became the most social Money In The Bank of all time, a 4X increase from the top clip at Night of Champions, which featured Jimmy Uso super-kicking Roman Reigns.

SmackDown 

The O2’s Friday Night SmackDown became the highest-earning SmackDown. SmackDown on Fox’s programme on Friday attracted 2.51 million total viewers, up 17% from the previous year, and was the No. 1 show in the 18-49 demographic with a.7 rating and 897K total viewers, up 39% from the previous year. The SmackDown broadcast from The O2 garnered the most revenue ever. $5.4 million in gate revenue was produced throughout the course of the weekend.
