At WWE Elimination Chamber 2022, Madcap Moss got the harshest bump of the night, hitting square on his head after absorbing a particularly savage Alabama Slam from Drew McIntyre in their Falls Count Anywhere match.

It was a terrifying scene that WWE’s production staff decided to recreate numerous times, even as the referee was checking on Moss to make sure he was alright.

Fortunately, Madcap was able to complete the fight, which McIntyre won immediately after swinging his namesake sword, Angela, at Happy Corbin.

Moss was meant to take a flat bump instead of ducking his head on the Alabama Slam, according to Fightful Select.

Fortunately, neither Moss nor McIntyre received any heat as a result of the incident, with Drew recognized as a safe worker in the locker room.

McIntyre was “incredibly concerned” about Moss following the collision. Madcap had assured Corbin, Drew, and the referee that he was alright after the match and wasn’t even rattled when he returned to the ring.

However, he did end up apologizing to his opponent, Vince McMahon, and WWE representatives for his blunder.

After being evaluated by WWE’s medical experts, the 32-year-old was determined to be alright, which is really the most important thing here.

Madcap Moss landing on neck

Madcap Moss was beaten by Drew McIntyre in a Falls Count Anywhere match during the Elimination Chamber event.

McIntyre’s first singles match since defeating Moss at WWE Day 1 on New Year’s Day before being sidelined for the following month due to injury.

Unfortunately, it wasn’t McIntyre’s victory that had people talking, but rather a terrifying bump Moss received throughout the bout.

Fans were worried about Madcap Moss as the former NXT star fell straight on his neck after McIntyre delivered an inverted Alabama Slam.

Moss was supposed to fall flat on his back, but something went awry, and the 32-year-old fell on the top of his head.

The match went on for a bit longer, so it doesn’t seem like WWE Officials were too concerned about Moss, which is definitely excellent news.

Happy Corbin, on the other hand, has been praised for dragging Moss out of the ring after the spot to check on him, with some assuming that the spot wasn’t planned and was just Corbin watching out for his partner.

Many people believe that the conflict between Madcap Moss, Happy Corbin, and Drew McIntyre isn’t ended and that McIntyre and Corbin will square off at WrestleMania.
