William Scott Goldberg is a professional wrestler, actor, former football player, and former mixed martial artist color commentator, currently signed to WWE. He is undoubtedly known as one of the greatest in-ring performers of all time with his glory spread all around in different wrestling formats such as WCW and WWE. As an actor, Goldberg worked in various films and television shows, including Universal Soldier: The Return (1999) and Family Guy.
Goldberg holds a golden career in professional wrestling followed by his dominance in WCW with a lengthy undefeated streak in singles competition from 1997 to 1998. Goldberg became a one-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion, two-time WCW United States Heavyweight Champion, and one-time WCW World Tag Team Champion with Bret Hart. Along with Hart, he is the fifth WCW Triple Crown winner. He also spent his wrestling career with All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) between 2002 and 2003 and for WWE between 2003 and 2004, and became one-time World Heavyweight Champion.

One of Goldberg’s biggest feuds in his first stint in WWE was against Triple H. In this feud, the two battled over the WWE World Championship and had a series of average matches, but never really got over the hump when it came to quality in-ring action.
However, Triple H knows how to put over his opponents, and he was able to get Goldberg over as a WWE star and not just a former WCW wrestler. Triple H gave Goldberg his first WWE loss, and the two traded the WWE World Championship.
Goldberg made his WWE return in 2016, and he had a chance to make up for his most embarrassing moment. In 2004, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar were feuding and ended up leaving WWE simultaneously, following their match at WrestleMania XX. The fans knew they were leaving and sabotaged the match, booing both men.
In 2016, Goldberg returned and started his feud with Lesnar again. The two finally delivered — from the squash match with Lesnar to winning the Universal Championship to Lesnar winning the title back.
The most destructive feud of Bill Goldberg’s career came in WCW. He was set to battle former WWE Champion Bret “The Hitman” Hart in what should have been a great feud of the perfect technical wrestler and the unmoveable big man. However, things went sideways.
Hart had some great promos, and the two men had some big moments, like when Hart placed a metal shield under his jersey to knock out Goldberg following a spear. However, the tragedy came when Goldberg accidentally legitimately kicked Hart in the head, ending his career with a severe concussion.
