Theory is still unbeatable six months after taking the championship from Seth Rollins at Survivor Series 2022, and nearly all of his rivals have failed to unseat him. Fans, though, are sick of Theory’s winning strategies, which usually require outside involvement. The wisest course of action would be for the organization to concentrate on creating new stars, bring Pete Dunne back to the main roster, and develop him into the superstar who can finally unseat Austin Theory.

It may be more beneficial for WWE to reinstate him back as Pete Dunne on the main roster, where he could perhaps unseat Austin Theory on Friday Night SmackDown to become the next US Champion.

By defeating Tyler Bate in 2017, Pete Dunne won the title of United Kingdom Champion. Up before his match with Gunther, he had held the title on the developing brand for 685 days. He finally defeated Matt Riddle to win the NXT Tag Team Championship after losing the belt. Theory, who has been on the main roster for around two years, has held the title of United States Champion for more than 200 days, making him the champion with the longest reign during the previous ten years. However, Theory’s booking by WWE has dissatisfied viewers all over the world.
The bulk of A-Town’s matches have resulted in disqualification, and his championship defenses frequently result in the challengers losing the match due to outside interference. Although WWE values Theory highly, no effort has been made to book the US Champion as a hardworking champion.
Austin Theory should be defeated by the Bruiserweight to win the US Championship. Theory will be able to advance on the card and improve. Dunne can continue to rule the blue brand for a considerable amount of time and restore the title’s status as a workhorse.
