Manika Batra and Diya Parag Chitale have made it through to the quarter-final of the 2022 Commonwealth Games in the women’s doubles category. The Indian duo will face the Welsh pair of Charlotte Carey and Anna Hursey for a chance to be in the final four. Chitale and Batra faced off against the team of Oumehani Hosenally and Nandeshwaree Jalim in the round of 16 and emerged 3-0 victors. The first two games ended with a score of 11-5 and the final game finished 11-3. It really was not much of a challenge for the Indian pair and they will now look to get the better of Carey and Hursey in the last eight.
