The match is a round of 32 tie in the table tennis mixed doubles category at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Sharath Kamal has had an exceptional start to the campaign as he bagged the men’s team gold medal earlier, but will now shift his focus to singles and doubles action. On the other hand, the Indian women’s table tennis team failed to win the women’s team event but the competitors are prepared to make amends. Akula and Sharath Kamal make a formidable team that has a healthy balance of youth and experience but things wont be easy against Cathcart and Earley.
