Later, Glenn Maxwell (12) and Suyash Prabhudessai (15), also failed to sustain the formidable SRH bowling line-up.

The middle and lower-order — Shahbaz Ahmed (7), Dinesh Karthik (0), Harshal Patel (4), Wanindu Hasaranga (8), Josh Hazlewood (3 not out) and Mohammed Siraj (2) — also looked out of touch in their attempt to save the RCB innings.

Jansen returned figures of 3/25 in his stipulated four overs while his fellow fast bowling compatriot T Natarajan picked up three wickets for 10 runs.
