As the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to take place later this month, CSK captain MS Dhoni along with a few CSK players have started practising.
As the Indian Premier League (IPL) is going to take place later this month, Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni along with a few others were recently seen enjoying themselves in a game of footvolley on Monday. However, the franchise is in Surat for a pre-season training camp before the cash-rich league. Apart from Dhoni, Ambati Rayudu, KM Asif, C Hari Nishaanth and Tushar Deshpande have begun their practice after having completed their mandatory quarantine period.
However, on Monday, the social media handle of the franchise has shared a video of Dhoni and a few other players where they can be seen playing footvolley as well. The franchise has shared the clip with the caption: “Namma Special Footvolley segment is Back! #WhistlePodu.”

On the other hand, they are constantly giving updates of their practice sessions on social media. Earlier on Monday, they also shared a video of Dhoni and co. receiving a great welcome from fans in Surat as they have arrived there for their training session as well.
Meanwhile, on Sunday, the BCCI has announced the schedule for IPL 2022 for the league phase. CSK will start their proceedings against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the Wankhede Stadium in Mumbai on March 26 as well. Their two day-game will be against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) at the DY Patil Stadium on April 9 and Gujarat Titans (GT) at the Wankhede Stadium on May 15 respectively as well. Their final match in the league stage will be against Rajasthan Royals (RR) at the Brabourne Stadium in Mumbai on May 20.

CSK are in Group B with Sunrisers Hyderabad, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Punjab Kings and Gujarat Titans. However, apart from the four teams in their group, they will also play against their arch-rivals Mumbai Indians (MI) twice whereas they will take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR), Rajasthan Royals (RR), Delhi Capitals (DC) and Lucknow Super Giants (LSG), respectively.

Match 7 – March 31 – LSG vs CSK – 7.30 PM, Brabourne CCI
Match 11 – April 3 – CSK vs PBKS – 7.30 PM, Brabourne CCI
