The ongoing IPL 2022 has entered its most exciting week as almost all the teams are battling for playoff berths. Every team will try to win in this ‘Jordar Week’ of IPL as well. And, Bollywood superstar Ranveer Singh said that the thrill will reach its crescendo this week and the entertainment will be massive too as well. The veteran actor – who is also a cricket enthusiast and acted on the biography of former India captain Kapil Dev in 83- has claimed that every single match will be a blockbuster.
While featuring in Star Sports promo film, Ranveer Singh said, “Virat bhai, Hardik bhai, Buttler bhai, you are all my heroes but now is the time to become an action hero because after this week no team will have a chance of a comeback.”
However, he also supported MS Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings and Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians to show their capabilities. Notably, both the teams have had a rather forgettable season so far and they are placed at the bottom of the points table this season. While CSK have won three games so far, Mumbai registered one as well. Notably, both teams have returned on the winning track and will look to keep the momentum going on as well.

Ranveer Singh again said, “The roar of the lion will be heard loudly in his ‘Jordar Week’ of IPL because Mahi’s team is injured. Every team needs to be wary of Rohit Sharma-led Mumbai Indians because they have nothing to lose but they can spoil the opposition’s playoff hopes.”
On the other hand, cricket experts also backed Ranveer Singh and said that by the end of this week everyone will have a clear picture of the playoff teams as well. Former Indian cricketer Mohammad Kaif also added that this week is going to be quite interesting because no team would like to go out of the playoffs race.
Kaif said on Cricket Live on Star Sports, “No team can afford to take the others lightly. Any team is capable of beating anyone. Each team will try their best to get those two crucial points. It’s time for the big players to show their mettle and take their team forward.”

Meanwhile, former Indian captain Sunil Gavaskar has also added that Chennai Super Kings can still make a turnaround and qualify for the playoffs if they start winning from now onwards. However, CSK will next play against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium in Pune on Wednesday (May 4).
Speaking on Cricket Live on Star Sports, Gavaskar said, “They have a lot of catching up to do but they are a team that knows how to make a comeback. But they need to turn it around quickly. We saw what happened with KKR last year. When the tournament was being held in India, KKR were nowhere in the picture but in the UAE they won just about everything and went into the finals. So things can turn around in a jiffy in this tournament.”
