Wuhan Three Towns FC will host Hebei FC in a Chinese Super League fixture at Jinzhou Stadium on Sunday. Both sides have had contrasting starts to their 2022 CSL campaign. The hosts have won four of their opening five games to sit at the second spot in the points table while Hebei, who have lost all their five games so far, are languishing at the 17th spot only above Guangzhou City. At Puwan Stadium on Sunday, Wuhan Three Towns scored two goals in the first half through Marcos Vinicius Alves and Hang Ren. Although, after the break, Shanghai Port pulled one back through Cherif Ndiaye’s strike, the hosts held on to the slender lead and secured all three points. It was the Hubei-based outfit’s second consecutive victory, having got the better of Wuhan Zall 3-1 on June 15. Pedro Morilla’s side are just one points adrift of the leaders Henan Songshan Longmen, having played a game more.
Hebei, on the other hand, fell to their ninth successive defeat following a 1-0 loss at Guangzhou and the Jinzhou Stadium on Saturday. Yang Liyu’s lone strike mid-way through the second half was enough to separate the two sides. Kim Jong-boo’s men have now conceded 12 goals and scored just two in their opening five games of the season. With their last away win coming over a year ago, Saturday’s visitors have it all to do and will need to get their acts together and breathe life into their league campaign.

Maracao, who has netted four goals in his last four outings is expected to lead the Wuhan Three Towns’ attack alongside Ademilson. Pengfei Xie could provide the creative spark in the midfield, having been directly involved in four goals scored by his team in as many games. Wallace and Liu would pair in the central defence. As for Hebei, Wei Zhang, who received a red card in the previous match will be unavailable for Saturday’s game and therefore Xuchen Yao could replace him in the attacking department.

The Chinese Super League fixture between Wuhan Three Towns and Hebei will take place at the Jinzhou Stadium and it will kickoff at 1:00 pm IST on June 26, Sunday.
