Alex Telles joins Al Nassr

Manchester United has confirmed the transfer of Alex Telles to Saudi Arabian club Al-Nassr. The Brazilian defender joined United from Porto in October 2020 and made a total of 50 appearances for the club over two seasons. However, he was not in the plans of manager Erik ten Hag for the 2022-2023 season, leading to a loan spell at Sevilla. Telles impressed during his time at Sevilla, featuring in 38 matches, including 27 La Liga appearances. Now, the left-back has made a permanent move to Al-Nassr, starting a new chapter in his career away from Old Trafford.

Everton sign Arnaut Danjuma

Everton has signed Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan from Villarreal. The Dutch international previously had a loan spell at Tottenham Hotspur in the 2022-23 season, scoring two goals in 12 appearances. Tottenham chose not to make the move permanent, but Danjuma is now back in the Premier League with Everton for the 2023-24 season. Before his time at Tottenham, he enjoyed a successful stint at Bournemouth from 2019 to 2021, recording 17 goals and eight assists in 52 appearances. Now, Everton has secured his services, adding more firepower to their squad.

Newcastle United sign Harvey Barnes

Newcastle United has completed the signing of winger Harvey Barnes from Leicester City. The 25-year-old has penned a five-year contract until June 2028, joining the Magpies for an reported fee around £39 million. This makes Barnes the third addition to Eddie Howe’s squad in the summer transfer window, following Yankuba Minteh, a young forward, and Sandro Tonali, an Italian international. Speaking about his move to St James’ Park, Barnes expressed his delight, describing it as an incredible opportunity to be part of an exciting and successful team. He looks forward to contributing to Newcastle United and making the most of this new chapter in his career.
