Milan officially signed Argentine midfielder Luka Romero after he left Lazio. Romero started at RCD Mallorca and became LaLiga’s youngest-ever player. He then moved to Lazio, making 21 appearances and scoring one goal. Choosing not to renew his contract, Romero joined Milan, wearing the number 18 shirt. Real Madrid officially completed the signing of 18-year-old midfielder Arda Guler from Fenerbahce, beating Barcelona. Madrid paid €17.5 million ($18.4m) for Guler, who signed a six-year contract. Guler made 35 appearances, scoring six goals and providing seven assists for Fenerbahce.

Napoli defender Kim Min-Jae has completed his medical with Bayern Munich. Bayern’s doctors traveled to South Korea for the examination. Once Min-Jae finishes his mandatory military service, Bayern will activate his €50 million release clause and offer him a contract until 2028, with an annual salary of €12 million. He is likely being brought in as a replacement for Lucas Hernandez, who is nearing a move to PSG, while Benjamin Pavard is also considering leaving Bayern.

AC Monza sign Roberto Gagliardini

After being released by Inter Milan, Roberto Gagliardini has joined Monza. Monza announced in a statement that the 29-year-old midfielder has agreed to a one-year contract, with the possibility of renewal if certain conditions are fulfilled. Gagliardini departs Inter Milan following six years at the San Siro, which were generally regarded as disappointing. Despite displaying early promise at his childhood club Atalanta, the midfielder was unable to fulfill the high expectations placed on him during his time at Inter Milan.

AC Milan closing in on Christian Pulisic

Despite receiving interest from Lyon, American winger Christian Pulisic was solely focused on a move to Milan. Chelsea has reportedly lowered their asking price to encourage a second bid from Milan. Reports have confirmed that an agreement has been reached on a fee, believed to be around £20m with bonuses included, for Pulisic’s transfer to San Siro this summer. Personal terms were already agreed upon between Pulisic and Milan earlier this month, and the deal is expected to be finalized in the coming days. Milan and Chelsea have already conducted business this summer with Ruben Loftus-Cheek’s transfer in June, and now Pulisic is set for a reunion with Loftus-Cheek and Chelsea academy graduate Fikayo Tomori.

PSG sign Manuel Ugarte

According to football journalist Fabrizio Romano, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) has officially signed Uruguayan midfielder Manuel Ugarte. After Chelsea withdrew from the competition, PSG acquired the young player from Sporting CP for a transfer fee of 60 million euros. Ugarte joins other recent signings such as Marco Asensio, Milan Skriniar, and Lucas Hernandez, who are expected to contribute to PSG’s pursuit of success in European competitions.
