It is unclear whether Callum Wilson and Dan Burn might play some part in the EFL Cup tie. Meanwhile, Tranmere might not make wholesale changes considering the strength of their opponents. At the weekend, Ross Doohan started as the goalkeeper, however, in the last round, Mateusz Hewelt started for them. Hence, it is not clear who among these two might start on Wednesday night.
