Monza will be looking to extend their unbeaten run to six games in Serie A when they travel to Olimpico di Torino on Sunday afternoon to take on Torino. Both sides are are currently locked on 45 points in the mid-table, with the hosts occupying 11th spot, while Monza are sitting one place above them, separated by goal-difference. Toro are heading into the match on the back of a convincing 2-0 win away to rock bottom side Sampdoria in the mid-week, while Monza played out a 1-1 draw against European challengers AS Roma.

Torino recorded their 12th league-win of the season against Sampdoria last time out thanks to Alessandro Buongiomo’s opener on the half-hour mark and Pietro Pellegrini’s 94th-minute effort. Meanwhile Ivan Juric’s men have not won any of their last four home fixtures ahead of Monza’s visit this weekend, taking just a solitary point from a possible 12 in Turin since mid-march. Toro’s home-form in the league has been very poor this term, having won only five of their 16 games at Olimpico di Torino. Nevertheless, Juric’s side have the sixth best away record in the top flight, collecting 25 points from a possible 51 so far. Monza, on the other hand, are heading into the match on the back of a five-game unbeaten streak, including three back-to-back wins along the way. On Wednesday night, the White Reds shared the spoils against Roma thanks to Luca Caldirola’s 39th-minute equalsier. Prior to that, Biancorossi got the better of Spezia through two unanswered goals from Patrick Ciurria and Carlos Augusto. It was their 12th top flight victory of the season. Monza are unbeaten in their last four league-games on the road, taking eight points in the period.
